WHY - Why - Why Do i have to do a FULL backup to do an Incremental

WHY - Why - Why Do i have to do a FULL backup to do an Incremental?

I just upgraded to BE 2012 and when creating backups they all come in already with a FULL backup which does not have an opton to delete it.   All I want to do is an incremental backup do not want a Full backup.  How can I prevent this from occurring or delete teh Full backup out of my new backup job?
