So, for easy way I have 1 server based on Windows server 2012. On this server are Symantec Backup Exec 2012 with agent for Hyper-V and of course Hyper-V with 1 virtual machine. I tru to do backup of this machine, but i have an error:
Backup- Datacenter.xxxx.comV-79-57344-34070 - Snapshot Technology: Initialization failure on: "VRTSRV::\\test.contoso.local\Hyper-V?Virtual?Machine\test". Snapshot technology used: Microsoft Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS).
0xE0008516: Resources specified for snapshot do not have any valid data on them. Check if files were deleted or renamed.
My version of Backup Exec is trial, we want to buy it< but first of all we try to understand all functions of this software, but without tests it is impossible. Please explain how to solve this problem.
