I need a solution
A Customer who is currently running SBS 2008 on PowerEdge T610, he is backing up this server using Symantec Backup exec 2012 SBS edition to a tape drive. ( LTO 4)
He wants to do a bare metal recovery from the tape drive to a new server T620 ( 12th gen) running SBS 2008 in case the primary server is stolen.
He is currently trying test and see if this will work but he is getting a blue screen.
The new server will be sitting on the shelf without being used but if the first server is stolen they will than install SBS 2008 on the new server and want to d a Bare metal recovery.
Is this possible ? if not what would be the right solution. ( Customer already have the equipment they just want to know how to get it to work.)
