I have a backup of windows server 2003 (dell power egde 2850).
I used exec backup (2012) to create full backup copy of my server. Now I want to test it and try to restore full system from backup to the same server.
It doesn't matter if I use special recovery dvd to boot server or use admin console from my exec server to restore the server, the result is the same: everythig looks fine, all data (I think, because it takes time) downloaded from my storage to the server.
The server reboots, windows starts and I see screen with system setup, I hope that is good. After some time I see "Installing devices ...", then white window with "examing system files... " and then just white screen and... like someone press the reset button. And then everything beggins again. Booting of windows, installing drivers of windows... etc and then reboot. Loop, loop, loop
So the system couldnt start correctly. The backup looks good w/o errors.
What I did wrong? And how to restome my server back?????
