How to backup data stored on a Western Digital Mybook

I have a Western Digital Mybook that i have stored a lot of data on.  Does anyone know how I would add this to the backup exec server list so that I can backup the data stored on it?

I tried adding it as Linux but it would not see the shares, also tried as "file server" but it would not even connect.

The shares on the western digital are visible via cifs, nfs.

Any help would be appreciated.
