SQL Server tape restore sitting at 0 bytes

Hi,

I have a new server here running windows server 2008 r2 with SQL server 2008 r2.  Backup exec version r3 is installed.

When I attempt to restore a database from tape to this server it allocates the space on the server, and I can see on the SQL management studio that the database is attempting to restore.  In the backup exec manager I can see the database restoring, but it sits at 0 bytes and just doesn't move.  Then if I attempt to cancel the job is just hangs on cancel pending.

I did a test just doing a normal file restore to this server using the same tape and it works fine.  I've also restored this database to another existing server fine.

What can I try?
