Automatically transferring disk backup media files to offsite location

We are looking into completely revamping our backup practices, including moving away from tape media.

Our goals are to perform (deduplicated) backups to onsite disk storage, AND THEN automatically transfer the disk-based media sets to an offsite location over a L2L VPN connection. We haven't worked out the exact rotation details yet, but the most recent backups should be available both on and offsite.

As we are planning to purchase Backup Exec 2014 (with appropriate Agents and the Dedup option), we'd like to know if that offsite transfer can be automated with Backup Exec.

If not, are there any suggestions as to another tool that would help us accomplish this?
