Hi all,
I am just posting looking for advise with an issue we have been having for a while, backup exec isn’t backing up on a server of ours.
We have replaced the tape, used a cleaning tape but we can’t seem to fix the issue we are having with backup's. The backup will take hours and won’t finish unless we cancel it.
The backup before the last one took 365 hours but managed to complete with exceptions.
We are running Windows 2008 if that is any help.
If anyone has any ideas to what could be causing this issue and/or if anyone is experiencing problems similar to this, any help would be appreciated.
Here is a copy of the of the errors in the job log:
Verify- System?State System?StateMedia mount failed.
User canceled a Physical Volume Library operation.
