Is it recommended to run a BE 2012 installation virtual on a VMWare platform?
I have plans to backup all VMDK files on the hypervisor using DeDupe feature to a diskstore that is shared with the produktion store.
The entire produktion/store (array) will then be replicated to another store on a second location. Together with all VMs, including the BE installation and BE disktore.
Is this supported, or should i run BackupExec on a physcial server with two different diskstore and include duplicattion to have a second copy of the backed data?
