Hi All,
i am using symantec Backup Exec 2010, so far it was working fine but from last two days i am experiencing problem.
It's not performing Daily backup job, and ejecting the tape with no backup though the tape have nearly half of the memory free.
I have insert new Tape, thinking there should be some problem with the last tape but again i am facing the same problem.
i have check Alerts and i found some information message mention below:
1. Message:
media "LT0000021" is overwrite protected.
the media in drive "IBM 1" is currently allocated and is not available for overwrite operations.
Media set: Daily Media Set
Overwrite Protection Unit: 14/07/2014 0:20:42.
Appendable Until: 06/07/2014 23:00:17
2. Message:
The Symantec: ThreatCon Level has been raised to level 2
Please tell me whether the above mention message is causing problem for backup tape drive or there is some other issue.
